This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Standing wave formation. Diagram illustrating how a standing wave (black) is formed by the addition of a wave (green) and its reflection (red) inside an oscillator. At fixed points the standing wave has no amplitude. These points are called nodes and their positions are shown by the grey vertical lines. Anti-nodes are the points of maximum amplitude or displacement. Standing waves like these are set up in musical instruments. For wind instruments, the waves represent compression rather than displacement.
